David is recognized across North America for his expertise in finding the very best talent for his clients. His experience in executive search spans more than 20 years working with organizations, both big and small, within the private, public and not-for-profit sectors.
He began his executive search career with one of the leading global management consultancies. In 1990, following his entrepreneurial urge, and out of a desire to provide absolute excellence in his executive search service, he ventured out on his own and has not looked back since.
David received his honours undergraduate degree in economics and international affairs from Concordia University in Montreal.
Earlier experience included stints with a start-up publishing venture, as an economist with the federal government, and working on a rail gang in Saskatchewan.
Outside of business, David lives in downtown Toronto thoroughly enjoying all that this diverse city has to offer. He can also be found coercing his 2 “now adult” kids into accepting his “Facebook Friend” requests.
Active in a variety of charitable causes, including Cycle for Sight, Ride for Karen and the Tour for Kids, annual cycling events, David has pedalled thousands of kilometres and with a few longstanding mates has raised over $175,000 since 2006.
David recently sat as a Board Member on the City of Toronto’s Board of Health, providing governance for the Toronto Public Health Department.
